Ultra Light Density MDF is a type of MDF board that has been designed to meet the growing demand for strong and lightweight machines. Ultra Light Density MDF is only suitable for internal applications where it will not be exposed to water or liquids; we would not recommend Ultra Light Density MDF for any outdoor use due to the risk of the wood getting damp and swelling, which could cause warping. Ultra Light Density MDF is available in different thicknesses depending on the application.
Ultra Light Density MDF can be cut to size with a fine tooth saw or other tools such as lasers. This type of wood has an extremely smooth surface which will give you the best finish possible when painting the board before installation. Ultra Light Density MDF is ideal for manufacturing furniture and storage units especially where there will be added stress on the material. Ultra Light Density can be supplied in a range of finishes including, Smooth (not sanded) and Rough sawn (sanded). Ultra Light Density MDF is an engineered wood that has many benefits over other types of sheet materials due to its extremely low density.
